- It seemed so easy. Having grown up and lived in Northern Minnesota, switching to another country for work and the love of a woman was an easy leap to make. Sort of an exchange for my father who originally came from Europe. Now a few years down the road, I have watched England from the inside, Europe from its doorstep and my home from the outside. Life as they say is never straightforward, but it is always interesting. . .
